I have owned this laptop for a little over a month now and loving it. I really like how the entire laptop is designed. The Fusion finish looks very nice and keeps fingerprints from standing out. The Keyboard looks and feels great. The laptop is a little smaller than most current generation laptops, but I don't mind since it makes it easier to take it with me when I'm on the go. I would have loved to have had this laptop when I was a college student. The hardware is fantastic for a laptop. With the i3 core and 4GB of RAM, I haven't had any problems doing anything I needed to. Everything is very fast and clean. The harman/kardon speakers are phenomenal. Words really can't express the quality of sound that comes out of these speakers. Another feature I like is the HDD with the impact sensor that parks the heads in the event of sudden shock. Although I haven't dropped it yet to test this, a prompt appears on the screen to let you know that vibration has been detected. This helps me to treat the laptop better and hopefully help it last longer.
I have no real complaints about this laptop but if I had to pick something, it would be the mouse buttons. They are a little less 'clicky' than other laptops and take some getting used to, but that is more of a personal preference.
As far as some of the other problems that some of the other reviews have mentioned, I have had absolutely no problems with the wifi. It works great. Also someone mentioned there were only two USB ports. There are only two actual USB ports but there is also a eSATA/USB port on the right side that can support eSATA connectors and USB connectors. So that means three ports that can accept USB devices and cables.
On another note, I noticed one of the reviews had the Windows Experience Index listed and I thought it was worth mentioning that my actual scores were slightly higher.

Overall this is a excellent laptop and I believe it was worth every penny of the $599.99 I paid for it (Christmas Special). I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Just bought this couple of weeks ago. It is a sleek and light weight laptop. The sound is good compared to sony i had previously.For the Wifi issue which is mentioned above we just need to download the new realtek driver fron their site and the issue stopped happening.Working gr8 till now

This laptop is portable and powerful; it seemed to be everything I wanted until I encountered an issue with the battery. The battery lasted no more than about 2 hours which is very bad for a brand new laptop, in my opinion. What's worse is that I could've (painfully) lived with that, but it got worse in the 2 weeks I had this laptop. I got a message from TOSHIBA PC Health Monitor that read:

I think it is unacceptable to have this message pop up after owning a laptop for 2 weeks. I returned it to Amazon immediately and that's the ONLY positive about the whole experience - Amazon made it SO easy (my first return EVER) and processed my refund lightning fast. I will definitely continue shopping with Amazon!
